Question 1

How quickly can you provide emergency garage door service?

Accepted Answer

The business operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and emergency calls are dispatched as soon as a truck is free. Arrival time depends on where you are around Salinas and nearby cities within 30 miles and what is already on the schedule — we give you a realistic window on the phone rather than a promise we cannot keep.

Question 2

What should I do if my garage door is stuck?

Accepted Answer

Stop operating it. Repeated attempts bend tracks, damage panels and burn out openers. Keep people, pets and vehicles clear, do not pull the emergency release on a door that is stuck part-way open, and call us so a technician can release the tension safely.

Question 3

Do you provide same-day service?

Accepted Answer

Same-day service is available and is how most repair calls are handled, subject to the schedule and where you are located. Call and we will tell you honestly what today looks like.

Question 4

How much does garage door repair cost?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the part that failed, the size and weight of the door, and the condition of the surrounding hardware. Our policy is a fixed written quote after an on-site diagnosis, before any work starts — so the number you approve is the number you pay. We do not quote flat rates over the phone for a door we have not seen.

Question 5

Do you offer any discounts?

Accepted Answer

Yes — current offers include $150 off garage door replacement and 5% off spring replacement, full door rebuilds, new opener installation, and a senior discount. Mention the offer when you call so it can be applied to a qualifying job.

Question 6

Can you repair a broken garage door spring?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Torsion and extension springs are replaced in pairs using high-cycle parts sized to the actual weight of your door, and the door is rebalanced and the opener re-set afterwards. Spring work is high-tension and is not a safe DIY job.

Question 7

Can you fix a garage door opener?

Accepted Answer

Yes — belt, chain and Wi-Fi enabled openers are repaired or replaced. We always test the door's balance first, because a large share of 'opener problems' are caused by a door the opener is being forced to fight.

Question 8

Should I repair or replace my garage door?

Accepted Answer

If the panels are sound and the failure is mechanical — springs, cables, rollers, opener — repair is almost always better value. Replacement makes sense when sections are cracked or rusted through, the door is badly out of square, or you want insulation and quieter operation. We will show you both options honestly.

Question 9

What areas do you serve?

Accepted Answer

We serve Salinas and communities within a 30-mile radius, including Marina, Seaside, Monterey, Pacific Grove, Castroville, Watsonville, Prunedale, Gonzales, Soledad and Carmel-by-the-Sea. See our Service Areas page for all local communities, and call to confirm your address.

Question 10

Do you only work on residential doors?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We focus entirely on homes — every type and brand of residential garage door, from single-car doors to large double and custom doors.

Question 11

Is your work covered by a warranty?

Accepted Answer

Yes — every repair includes Warranty on part & Labor, confirmed in writing on your invoice.

Question 12

How do I book an appointment?

Accepted Answer

Call (669) 214-7181 at any hour, text a photo of the problem, or submit the estimate form on this site and we will call you back to confirm a time.

Question 13

How often should a garage door be serviced?

Accepted Answer

Once a year is right for most households. Doors used as the home's main entrance benefit from more frequent tune-ups.

Question 14

Which garage door brands do you work with?

Accepted Answer

We service doors and openers including Amarr, Clopay, Wayne Dalton, Hörmann, LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Overhead Door and Genie, plus builder-grade and unbranded doors. We are an independent service company, not a manufacturer dealer.
