What remote programming & repair covers
The remote, wall keypad and your vehicle's built-in buttons (Homelink / Car2U) are how you actually use the door day to day. When one stops working the problem is usually a lost code, a failing transmitter, or a receiver board on the opener — not the door itself.
We pair new and replacement remotes, reprogram keypads, sync in-car buttons, clear out stale codes, and replace worn transmitters. Programming is done on site and tested with you before we leave.
Signs you need this service
- The remote only works when you are standing right under the opener
- A replacement remote will not pair to the unit
- Some buttons work but others do nothing
- The keypad stopped responding after a battery change
- Your in-car button stopped opening the door
- A lost or stolen remote you want cleared from the system
Common causes
- A drained remote battery or corroded battery contact
- Lost pairing after an opener power outage or logic-board reset
- A failing transmitter or worn button on an older remote
- Receiver interference from nearby devices on the same frequency
- A new opener or vehicle that has never been programmed to the door
What happens if it's ignored
- A door you can only open from inside the garage strands a vehicle
- A lost or unreturned remote leaves the door operable by someone else
- Repeatedly pressing a failing remote wears the opener logic board
- A dead keypad means no keyless entry for the household

Our process
How the visit works
The same order of work every time, so there are no surprises on the invoice.
- 01
Test the whole system
We check the remote, keypad, in-car button and the opener's receiver so we program against a working receiver, not a symptom.
- 02
Clear stale codes
Old or lost remotes are wiped from the opener's memory so only the devices you have now can operate the door.
- 03
Pair and program
New and existing remotes, the wall keypad and Homelink / Car2U buttons are programmed to the unit.
- 04
Range and battery check
We confirm operating range from outside the garage and fit fresh batteries where needed.
- 05
Test with you
You operate the door with each device before we call the job done.
